Artificial intelligence is rapidly moving beyond digital tasks into the physical systems that power our world. From predicting infrastructure health and monitoring traffic safety to coordinating autonomous machines, AI is beginning to operate in real time — interpreting signals from the environment, making decisions, and driving action. But delivering AI at the speed and scale of the physical world requires a fundamental shift in how intelligence is deployed. Rather than relying on distant, centralized clouds, AI must be distributed — embedded across the network, close to where data is generated and outcomes are determined. In partnership with NVIDIA and T-Mobile, Archetype is helping bring this new model of Physical AI to life.

A New Infrastructure for Distributed AI

Telecom networks are evolving into the infrastructure layer for distributed AI. A new model for delivering AI is beginning to take shape: one built on distributed network infrastructure rather than centralized clouds, where inference runs closer to users, devices, and data, aligning response time and cost with the demands of real-world applications.

T-Mobile is at the forefront of this transformation, turning its nationwide network of cell sites and mobile switching offices into edge AI infrastructure. NVIDIA provides the accelerated computing platform that makes distributed AI inference practical, including the RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs.

Bringing Intelligence into the Physical World

As AI moves into the physical world, the challenge shifts from where it runs to how it understands and acts on real-world signals. AI must be able to interpret sensor data — understanding how machines, infrastructure, and environments behave in real time. This is where Archetype comes in.

Archetype provides a foundation model for physical systems enabling them to sense, reason, and adapt. By transforming raw sensor data into actionable insight, Archetype helps teams predict issues, optimize performance, and coordinate action across complex systems.

The Physical AI Transformation

When intelligence is distributed across the network, a new class of applications becomes possible. Smart cities can detect and respond to events in real time. Connected vehicles and robots can make decisions locally and collectively. Infrastructure can continuously monitor, adapt, and optimize.

Together, this new stack enables AI to move beyond observation into real-world impact — shifting systems from reactive monitoring to real-time understanding and control. As intelligence becomes embedded across infrastructure and environments, the result is not just more intelligent systems, but a new class of systems that can continuously learn, improve, and act at global scale.

Introducing Newton Agents

Industrial operations generate enormous amounts of data, yet the conditions that matter most often remain difficult to understand. Traditional approaches rely on rules, thresholds, and custom AI models that are costly to build, difficult to scale, and often confined to a handful of use cases.Newton Agents introduce a new way to deploy Physical AI across machines, processes, and the workforce—a portfolio of ready-to-deploy agents that transform sensor data, video, and operational context into real-time operational intelligence without building a custom AI model for every use case.
